SunflowerAroma is run by the team behind Sunflower Aromatherapy Academy. Our products are made by hand in our own workshop, from the academy's own formulas — and the same team trains aromatherapists and runs hands-on workshops for our community in East Malaysia.

Helen Chen

Helen began her aromatherapy journey in 2006, gaining extensive hands-on and clinical experience in essential-oil blending, massage and therapeutic care.
In 2012 she founded Sunflower Aromatherapy Academy in Kuching. There she shares her practical knowledge, helping students use aromatherapy with confidence in everyday life — and develops the formulas behind many of our products.

How we make
From soil to bottle
Taught, not just sold
We are an academy and a maker in one: we run our own production, and our students learn from its real formulas and R&D.
Made entirely in-house
No outsourcing and no OEM. We control every step, from choosing raw materials to filling the bottle, and every order is packed by hand in Kuching.
Borneo's own Engkabang
Engkabang is Borneo's “rainforest butter”, pressed from the illipe nut. We are reviving this local ingredient and blending it with modern aromatherapy. Shop Engkabang care
